How is this different from a coach or a consultant?

A coach mostly asks you questions. A consultant usually hands you a report and leaves. This sits closer to a non-executive director: someone in the room who has run real businesses, will tell you the truth, and stays with you month to month. Less theory, more judgement.

How much of my time does it take?

Very little, and it is built to give you time back, not eat it. One focused call and about fifteen minutes of prep a month. The point is a calmer, lighter way of operating, not another thing on your plate.

Can I start small and move up later?

Yes, and most people do. Start where you are, and step up when the moment is right. Your foundations carry over, so you never start again.
